Carla Tardini and Louis Tardini are the heart of the band called “Carloua”.

The sound of Carloua blues band is shaped by their passion and power in performance, playing lyrical and dynamic blues with their own edge, whilst delivering a faithful rendition of classics blues that enthusiasts love to hear.
LOUIS TARDINI Louis played electric guitar in bands as a teenager and played in various in various clubs and pubs throughout Melbourne. He then concentrated on his engineering career and studied Electronic Engineering at RMIT. Having travelled the world with many engineering projects, he again included music back into his life, playing and mastering both guitar and keyboard. After playing with other musos, he formed Carloua with his wife.
Louis is an established guitarist, much admired and respected by other musicians and punters alike. His first instrument was piano, and Louis is now an accomplished Hammond organ player and also a brilliant bass player. Whilst being guitarist in Carloua, he is also a session musician playing organ and bass in other band projects. With excellent equipment and years of expertise, Louis is a Sound Engineer and Producer and operates his own recording studio, LRT Electro Studio.
CARLA TARDINI Carla’s vocal career spans 4 decades. She is a passionate vocalist and has a repertoire that spans blues, soul, rock, pop and jazz. She interprets the blues with female vocals that are sweet, sassy and raunchy. Carla also plays synthesizer and harmonica and sings backing vocals in other projects.
“With my knowledge of music imbued in me from childhood days of listening to my parent’s jazz records, and then living through the expansive growth of music in the sixties and seventies, I have sung many styles of music and have lived a life of music. I now have more than forty continuous years of experience in singing and performing including delving into musical theatre, stage theatre, recording, television and film. I have entertained live audiences in pubs, nightclubs, events and festivals featuring vocal styles of blues, jazz, rock and pop. I like to interpret songs when I can, with my own feel and sing in a voice that speaks from the heart. I love to give a song life. I love to be energetic and emotive. I love to sing.”
